A Review of Dreaming:
Dreaming, flying, gliding, taken
back in time, with Andre's
Dreaming, a mixture from
Classical, To Jazz.... To the
Waltzes of The Danube, To
Theatres, To Operas, To Green
Fields, we roam with Andre as he
urges us on with his beautiful
Stradivarius and the Johann
Strauss Orchestra. We join them,
we become one with them, we
visit all the places, times and
themes. . A participating
audience of many, Countries, far
and wide, paying tribute to
"This Magnificent
Obsession"...You, Andre' have
become our Obsession!
Waltzing into our hearts, our
homes, our lives, whenever we
hear you Play. You have left an
indelible print within us...The
world cannot help wanting more
of you...Dreaming takes you to a
soft calming hide-away of
Waltzing, bicycling around to
foreign lands, to Lullabies, to
My Beloved Edelweiss, the
tiny white flowers I love.
Andre', your intoxicating sounds
entice us to want more and more
of you, to listen, to hear, to
want more of this sound, then it
comes to an end all to soon,
though we are not alarmed.
We prepare for our next
excursion with you. You are
never far from us, Dear Andre or
we from you...
Then we bow our heads and
silently Pray for Our Fallen
Soldiers, as we listen To
Lost Heroes this most
beautiful tribute to 8,000 men
who are buried in a little
Cemetery called "Margraten,
commemorating the liberation of
Holland by Our American
Soldiers, whose lives were taken
in 1945, They Live On Forever.
"Lost Heroes also will
forever Let Us Remember the
Brave Heroes of the September
11th, 2000 tragedy They were
True Heroes. God Bless All of
These Courageous Ones, Their
Families, Their Children, All
Loved Ones.... This song
composed by Andre Rieu and Jean
Philippe, his brother, will
stand as a Beacon, to Never
Forget.
......Andre Rieu......
The Dreamer of Dreams.... That
became a reality...
The Waltz King... Oh, yes...
The Classical Genius...Who
forever changed it's Face....
The Prince of Music...The Prince
of Romance and Love.
The Enchanter...Of many...
The Captivator...Of all...
Andre', You leave a part of
yourself with us in our homes,
you transform our TV's into Our
Own Concert Halls...You ride
with us in our automobiles, you
are never far from us...
You are a part of us, as we are
of you...
This Beautiful Obsession I have
with Music, and you Dear Andre'
for that I will repeat Your
Words...It is a Beautiful
Obsession To Have, and I shall
hold onto that Forever. Andre',
You have followed Your Heart,
with Your own sense of Direction
for Music.
In Rita's Words, I Repeat..."You
Have Danced To The Beat
Of...'"YOUR OWN DRUMMER."
I'm so Happy You Followed That
Dream... Continue To Dream,
Andre' Rieu...
TO
MARJORIE RIEU:
Thank you for the words you have
written to this beautiful piece
"Lost Heroes ". You have so
captured your feelings and also
of many people worldwide.
Hearts come together to unite as
ONE, in sad times such as this.
Yet out of tragedies there is
always strength, out of strength
comes the will to go on, to
fight for what we believe in, to
remain "FREE", as we are all
Brothers, knowing no boundaries,
joining hands, to lean on each
other, to support each other. To
Never Forget!
God Bless you Marjorie.
