Hello Dear Fans & Friends.  

This is a special issue of AndreRieuFans.com News & Letters.

Now that Ovation is showing Andre Rieu concerts, there has been an increased amount of interest in Andre touring Australia.  I am frequently asked how one can help bring Andre to OZ and thought it best to tell you how I helped convince Andre to tour the West Coast of the US.

Catching Andre's ear & eye is key.  Andre had not been to California in over 7 years when I started writing to other California Fans, telling them to write Andre's & AndreRieuFans.com guestbooks with encouraging posts about wanting to see Andre in concert. After much lobbying, posting, and having stories up on our Fan site, Andre returned to the West Coast of the US in 2005 for the first time since 1997.

What I would like to do is ask each of you to write a story for AndreRieuFans.  It can be about how you came to know of Andre, your favorite Song, CD or DVD, a recommended Venue he can appear at, and your willingness to attend his concerts.  Anything along those lines (feel free to suggest stories).  Please send any photos you would like to have appear with your story.

I will create the WebPages based on your story.  Then I will update the home page and Featured Fan pages, with an all Aussie volume!  That should help catch Andre's attention!

I have also created a page on the Blog for everyone to post on regarding Australia.  Andre, Pierre & Marc Rieu are aware of our site, so let's make this something they will remember.

Remember:
1. Write your story for the OZ edition of AndreRieuFans.com.
2. Post in the Guestbook & Blog pages.
3. Encourage everyone you know to help do the above.
4. Please send me a copy of any and all News, Internet, Magazine reports on Andre Rieu.  (I will post them, giving you credit for the find)
