Where We Live ~ Where We Listen

Joplin is nestled in the scenic Southwest corner of Missouri
on the edge of the Ozark Mountains, therefore the title "Gateway To The Ozarks" is fitting. There is a "small town" friendliness and charm about the city, which I love.
It's a great place to live

Den Haag has always been a royal city, since the dukes of Holland started to build their hunting lodge (the Binnenhof) in the year 1250.
Every 3rd Tuesday in September is "Prinsjesdag". The Queen comes to the Binnenhof in a golden carriage, drawn by 8 horses.

J'habite au Mans, en France,
où je suis née.
Le Mans est célèbre pour sa course de voiture "Les 24 heures du Mans".  C'est une ville médiévale, avec un vieux centre ville. I used to see  André Rieu there every year in Concert, to Antarès, a building like a flying saucer

I really believe Andre outdid himself with this concert it was spectacular, and we cannot wait to get the DVD, so that we can understand what he said. We thought the "Three Tenors" were a great addition.  Eat your heart out Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras!

We left the dinner at nine for the Vrijthof and found our way to our seats. In the meantime the rain showers had stopped and the clouds gave way to a blue sky. Andre must have had a talk with St. Peter again, as the weather turned out to be beautiful all weekend long.

We met  Pierre.
What a hard worker he is,
André
must be very proud of him
.

The sight over the Vrijthof was magnificent, everything was illuminated in different colours,
and it was like a fairytale.
